Dr. Birjitender Singh is a leading Internist, Wound Care Specialist, and Opioid Addiction Treatment Specialist located in Saginaw, MI with 30+ years of experience in the medical field. He has owned and operated his practice, Luxe Laser MedSpa and Satnam Medical, since January 2009. Satnam Medical has also been a Patient Centered Medical Home Practice since 2011; this is earned and maintained by providing good quality healthcare and by coordinating care to benefit and assist with all patient needs. Amongst many of his countless awards and accreditation’s, here are some of the most honorary achievements made by Dr. Birjitender Singh: He was titled Michigan’s Top Doctor in 2018 and 2019, The Leading Physicians of the World in years 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, America’s Top Physicians in 2007 and 2014, and is an Associate of the American Professional Wound Care Association.
Aside from spending time at his Medical Practice, Dr. Singh is an incredible asset to the community around him and delivers compassionate care in many ways. He has been Medical Director for First State Hospice for several years. Dr. Singh has great experience in and practices Addiction Medicine for the Treatment of Opioid and Alcohol Addiction and works diligently alongside Certified Therapists for Opioid and Alcohol Addiction Counseling at DOT Caring Center. He has experience participating with treatment medications such as Suboxone, Zubsolv, Vivitrol, Disufram, Acamprosate, and more! Dr. Singh has even found time to participate with local colleges to assist in education, shadowing, and guiding the physicians of our future. His experience, passion for excellent patient care, and enhancing the quality of life in all he cares for is what makes Dr. Singh a physician worth considering.
My name is Birjitender Singh. I was born and raised in India and came to the United States and completed my medical school journey at Michigan State University (Go Spartans!) I then opened my medical practice Satnam Medical; I am very proud to see my practice thriving and doing so well today. Aside from Satnam Medical and the many achievements listed above I hold two very prestigious positions in the local health care community. Firstly, I have been a Medical Director for First State Home Health & Hospice Care since the summer of 2019. Secondly, I put my expertise in Alcohol & Drug Addiction to good use and have been serving as the Attending Physician at DOT Caring Center since 2019 and became Medical Director at DOT in 2022. I hold these positions very near and dear to my heart and am honored to participate in medical treatment for those who benefit from the delicate care needed in sensitive stages of their lives such as hospice and drug/alcohol rehabilitation.
It is my passion to provide excellent care at my practice and medical care positions to instill positivity in your health to ensure that it comes full circle with your lively hood. Whether it be care provided at my medical practice, at Luxe Laser MedSpa, at DOT, or while on hospice care, it is very important to me that you get the compassion, respect, and attention that you deserve. It is my goal for you to look and feel like the best version of yourself. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my beautiful fur babies Ollie and Onyx.
